Insaciable

EN That dance fascinates. In a creation acclaimed at Sevilla Flamenco Festival, Lucía Álvarez La Piñona extends into movement and emotion the obsession that inhabits her: an obsession for desire and purportedly forbidden pleasures. Through several introspective sequences, she reveals herself without shame or modesty, at the same time vulnerable, excessive and animal. The steps, the guitar, and the full voices of five male interpreters echo the Andalusian artist’s powerful and carnal dancing. Almost a trance, to which the audience member is invited not as an outside look watching but as an insatiable heart as well, invited to blaze.

En Insaciable, espectáculo estrenado con éxito en la Bienal de Sevilla y triunfante en el de Jerez, Lucía la Piñona explora sus emociones hasta los límites físicos y anímicos de su baile, sin decorado ni dramaturgia, en un viaje esencial construido sobre lo sensorial y guiado por el deseo y la curiosidad.
